Creative Inventive Entrepreneur Seeks Investor/Partner

Posted by TBA Later

Hello. I am a middle aged male with a zest for life and a fully functioning sense of humor. All my life I have been extremely creative, inventive and entrepreneurial. My Grade 3 teacher noted in my report card that I had "a tendency to daydream". ( Hey..sometimes you get lucky! :-)
I love great ideas, especially if they can make money. And I've got lots of them...too many to develop all by myself in one lifetime! I have reached a stage in my life where I have sorted the wheat from the chaff and can now dedicate myself fully to the development and marketing of these ideas. But I am wise enough to realize I can't do it alone.
Now you may be wondering just what kind of "ideas" we're talking about here. Basically, they fall into 6 categories:

1) Business Operations
2) Inventions
3) Feature Length Motion Pictures
4) Television Series
5) Books
6) Songs (over 200)

There are several ways I might begin to exploit these ideas. For example, I have a song on Baywatch which has been quite good to me so far. My strong preference is to form a company in the US or offshore to manage, oversee and promote all the ideas. I would not run day to day operations, but I would oversee overall operations, and be the inspiration and catalyst behind the company, which would bear my name.
I am seeking the input of a very aggresive accomplished "go-getter" either as a full time entrepreneurial leader, an investor (silent or not), or both. Alternatively, this leader will have the skills, resources and/or capital sources to bring to the table or promptly find any required financing either as direct investment, or through working partnerships. This person would also, in consultation with myself, determine further staffing requirements, if any. Right now, all options are open to discussion.
Finally, a brief background about myself. After completing my college courses in Communications, and before entering University, I sold my "short" graduation film to a national network for more than it cost to make it. Then, I sold a copy to my University and later started a small national distribution agency selling the film all over North America. I then worked in the feature film booking department at United Artists which I left to start my own feature film distribution company, contracting my first feature from MGM in LA. I then went into film financing, and raised millions from private investors for features and TV shows and became a Producer and Executive Producer on several of these projects. I semi-retired, bought a horse farm and got married. Then my wife and I started an ad agency in the Caribbean and started a family. A few years later, we returned to North America and I bought a series of 3 recording studios, one internationally famous. All this time, I wrote songs and developed film scripts, came up with invention ideas, as well as film and television series concepts, and ideas for starting new businesses. Along the way, I met and dealt with many people, some famous, most not. I look forward to meeting and working with many smart, fun people in the future. Perhaps you may be one of them.
I envision the nature of the working relationship to be as follows: After telling me lots about yourself and your background, and why you feel this opportunity would be exciting for you, and what you could bring to it, I would respond with some initial feedback, indicating whether I felt there was a possible fit, or not, and why. If there was mutual interest, we would continue to communicate further. If some sort of arrangement was made to work together, it would most likely involve a contract, including compensation matters, confidentiality issues, and authority allocations, etc. It absolutely would involve at least 3 solid references from you and further disclosures regarding business experience and other justification for choosing your proposal over any others. Honestly, you may have just graduated from high school and have an amazing attitude with the drive and commitment to make me a believer! Or you could be a succesful existing corporation that buys all the ideas for a set price in either a lump sum or in several payments and with or without future profit participation for me, and with or without an option on any further ideas I might create in the future. At this point, the door is wide open, so bring it on! I look forward to receiving your responses to this posting, and thanks for reading it.
(By the way, if it does not suit you or your company at this time, but you know of someone whom you think may have an interest in it, feel free to send it on. Thanks again!)
